Passport Size Photo Maker: Free Online Photo Resizer

Make your photo the exact size an application asks for, in pixels and in KB. Choose what the photo is for, pick your photo, and download. It is free and your photo never leaves your device.

Why online applications reject photos

Most online forms check three things automatically: the shape of the photo, its size in pixels, and the file size in KB. A photo straight from a phone is usually several megabytes and the wrong shape, so the form refuses it. This tool fixes all three at once, using the requirement published by the official authority for each application.

Each requirement page links to its official government or exam source, with the date we last checked it. Rules change, so check that page before you submit.

Smart photo checks

• Face detection and auto-centring: the tool finds your face and frames it the way official photos expect.
• White background in one tap: removes a busy background and replaces it with plain white (hidden for countries where white is not allowed).
• Instant checklist: size, file size, one face, face centred, face size and background, so you can fix problems before you submit.
• Clean signatures: turns grey paper white so scanned signatures look sharp at small file sizes.

Is it safe?

Yes. The photo is processed by your own browser. Nothing is uploaded, stored or shared. Resizing and compression work offline once the page has loaded. Face detection and background removal download their models from this site the first time you use them, so they need a connection that first time.
