PAN Card Photo Size & Free Resizer
How you give a photo for a PAN application through Protean (formerly NSDL) depends on the method. With Aadhaar e-KYC and e-Sign there is no upload: the photo on your Aadhaar can be printed on the PAN card if you agree. With the scan-based e-Sign method you upload a JPG photo 3.5 cm high by 2.5 cm wide, below 200 dpi, up to 50 KB. With a paper form you attach a recent passport-size photograph.

This tool crops your photo to 196 x 275 pixels, which is 2.5 x 3.5 cm at just under 200 dpi, and compresses it under 50 KB as a JPG for the scan-based upload.
