Signature Resize: Reduce Signature Size in KB

Online exam and government forms ask for a scanned signature with a strict size, and each form sets its own: SSC wants 10 to 20 KB at about 6.0 x 2.0 cm, IBPS and SBI 10 to 20 KB at 140 x 60 pixels, RRB NTPC 30 to 49 KB. This signature resize tool crops, whitens and compresses your signature to the KB size you need, as a JPG.

Your photo stays on your device. Face detection and background removal also run on your device.

Target file size starts at 20 KB, the most common signature limit. Change it to match your form, or pick your exam in the list above to get its exact pixel size and KB range. If your exam is listed below, its own page is the safer choice because it also keeps the file above the minimum.

How to resize a signature in KB

  1. Sign on plain white paper in the ink colour your form asks for, and photograph or scan it in even light.
  2. Target file size is already set to 20 KB. Change it if your form gives a different limit.
  3. Pick the signature image, tap "Make paper white" if the paper looks grey, and crop tightly with Zoom and Move.
  4. Check that the file size line shows ✅, then tap Download.

If the form also gives a pixel size, use its own page instead so the shape is right too, for example the SSC photo or IBPS signature tools, or browse all exam photo and signature sizes.

How do I resize my signature online?

Sign on white paper, take a clear photo, pick it here, tap "Make paper white", crop tightly with Zoom and Move, set Target file size to your form's limit, and download the JPG.

What is the usual signature size in KB?

There is no single size. Many bank and SSC exams use 10 to 20 KB, PAN card under 50 KB, RRB NTPC 30 to 49 KB. The table on this page lists each form's size from its official notice.

Can I reduce my signature size to 10 to 20 KB?

Yes. Use the page for your exam (SSC, IBPS, SBI and others use 10 to 20 KB), which keeps the file inside the range. This page only sets a maximum.
